Taking the first step toward therapy can be daunting. The courage it takes to be vulnerable with a stranger for the first time is immense. It can feel overwhelming to explore the past, sit with your innermost thoughts and feelings, and engage in self-reflection. Because of this, I strive to create a comforting, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to be yourself. I believe therapy is built on a strong therapeutic alliance and an authentic connection, as we create space to develop coping skills, find meaning, and strengthen self-compassion one step at a time.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas in 2023. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and their families from a variety of backgrounds. I have supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, family and relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I offer in-person and virtual sessions to those in Tennessee and Arkansas.
I utilize a client-centered approach, incorporating techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). As your therapist, this means building a strong therapeutic relationship, respecting your pace, and helping you develop insight and practical tools to navigate your unique challenges.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my mini dachshund, Daffodil, while cozying up on the couch with a good mystery novel or fantasy series—or diving into the latest true crime documentary. I also enjoy photography, working out, and exploring new places with the people I love.
