If you’ve experienced life in ways that feel like it's out of control, or that you may not recover from events that have unraveled, it's not uncommon to think "no one will really understand" or to feel like "this is insurmountable."
Whether it’s the immediate aftermath of tragedy or trauma, looking back and learning from your family of origin, or processing the disappointments and disillusionment that comes with life, I would be honored to sit with you and listen. I can’t promise that it will be easy (it probably won’t be), or that you won’t still have questions (you may). What I can commit to is a space that will nurture truth, authenticity and hopefulness.
Working with me will be a relational and collaborative process that invites a holistic and eclectic approach. There is no one size fits all. Your healing is as individual and personal as your story.
I approach therapy through an attachment and strengths-based framework as well as being trauma informed while applying Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT) and neuroscience (neurophysiological implications) with attention to somatics (body) and emotion. Sessions are person-centered which means you’re in control, and if you have trouble connecting with that, I will help you recognize what you need in a direct, yet compassionate and curious way.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 3 young adult children which often includes the beach, our 2 German Shorthaired Pointers and Alabama football—Roll Tide! I love art, antiquing and all things interior design, and have a plan brewing to open a coffee shop one day.
